Larson
Karin Larson is the Executive Assistant Director of the Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition (CARLA) and is responsible for the overall administration of grants and program activities, including program coordination logistics, budgeting, publicity, and reporting.
She has an M.Ed. in Adult Education and an M.A. in International Development Education from the University of Minnesota. She has over thirty-five years of experience in educational program administration and her past positions include: Coordinator of the Language Project, a volunteer-based English as a Second Language program for South East Asian refugees; Sponsorship Coordinator for Lutheran Social Services Refugee Resettlement program based in the Twin Cities; Director of Non-Credit Continuing Education Programs for Minneapolis Community College; and Program Coordinator for the International Study and Travel Center at the University of Minnesota.
