2026 Summer Institute Registration Information
Registration Costs and Payment
Registration costs for each of the 2026 CARLA summer institutes can be found in the table below. Please note:
- Registration will close five business days before the start of each institute.
- All registrations must include payment. See below for payment options.
- Clock Hours. A certificate of clock hours is available upon completion of any of the summer institutes. The number of clock hours awarded is dependent on actual attendance.
- There are restrictions on refunds. You must agree to the Refund Policy and Dates in order to register.
Registration Costs
- Super Early-Bird Registration: Register on or before February 27, 2026, to save $100 off the regular price.
- Early-Bird Registration: Register on or before April 24, 2026, to save $50 off the regular price.
- Regular Registration: Register between April 25–May 29, 2026.
- Late Registration Fee: An additional $50 will be charged for all registrations made after May 29, 2026.

If the institute is full, you can get on the waiting list via our registration system.
For In-Person Institutes: Do NOT purchase airline tickets until you have received confirmation of your registration for an in-person summer institute! CARLA is not responsible for airline penalties if tickets are purchased before you have received confirmation that you have been registered in a summer institute.

Please Note:
- All registrations must include payment.
- Payment must be made in U.S. dollars.
- Purchase orders and wire transfers are not accepted.
- There are restrictions on refunds. You must agree to the Refund Policy and Dates in order to register.
Need a Receipt?
All registrants are sent an electronic receipt of registration payment from the system that processes registrations—for online registration, this receipt is sent immediately. If you didn't receive a receipt or you can't find it, you can do the following:
- Check your "Junk Mail" folder to see if your spam filter sent the email there.
- If you registered online, you can log in again and retrieve your receipt.
- Or, you can contact the CARLA office to get a new copy emailed to you. Email [email protected]
Special Needs
If you have special needs, please contact the CARLA office ([email protected]) at least three weeks prior to your institute so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Clock Hours
Participants can earn certificates for up to 18 Clock Hours of Continuing Professional Education for full attendance at the 3-day CARLA summer institutes (15 Clock Hours for Seals of Biliteracy). Certificates are requested on the last day of the institute and are based on actual attendance records. Certificates are sent out within 3-4 weeks of the end of the institute.
