Modes

a. A  list of foreign language lessons that target specific content Standards. These lessons provide examples of how classroom practice relates to the Standards and are meant to allow for divergent thinking and to stimulate creativity in lesson and curriculum.

b. Another way of abbreviating the goals of the Standards.

c. The organizing principles include: communication, cultures, connections, comparisons, and communities.

d. These are the parts of the framework that define the communication standards - interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational.

e. Possible tasks that reflect student accomplishments in grades 4, 8, and 12. They can be realistically achieved at some level of performance by all students.
