Registration Information
Registration costs for the conference can be found in the table below.
- Early-Bird Registration: Register on or before Monday, April 1, 2024.
- Regular Registration: Register on or before Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
- Late Registration: Register on or before Thursday, May 23, 2024.
- Registration will close at the end of the business day on Thursday, May 23, 2024–one week prior to the start of the conference.
All registrations must include payment.
- Payment must be made in U.S. dollars.
- There are restrictions on refunds. Please see Refund Policy and Dates below.
Additional registration information:
- Registrations must be received by the end of the business day on the date listed to be eligible for price discounts. A late fee will be charged for registrations received after the stated deadline.
- Proposal submitters will be notified of the status of their proposal by early March; they will need to confirm their participation by registering for the conference by April 1, 2024.

Payment Options
- Register online with a credit card.
- Registration by check (only if needed): Contact the CARLA office at carla@umn.edu.
Sorry, purchase orders and wire transfers are NOT accepted.
Cancellation/Refund Policy and Deadlines
- All cancellation requests must be made in writing to carla@umn.edu.
- Written cancellation requests received on or before May 1, 2024 are eligible for a refund minus $50 for processing.
- Written cancellation requests received after May 1, 2024, but on or before May 23, 2024, are eligible for a refund minus $100 for processing (which includes the registration and processing fees, and the cost of materials and meals).
- Refunds will not be granted after May 23, 2024.
- The University of Minnesota reserves the right to cancel the conference if necessary and will grant a full refund if the conference is not held.
Special Needs
- Those who have special needs must contact the CARLA office by May 1, 2024, to allow time to make needed arrangements.
