This symposium will bring together immersion educators from across the U.S. to identify the key issues of including immersion students in statewide assessments. Panelists will describe different programs in their states and how immersion educators are meeting the challenges that arise with statewide accountability testing. The goal of this symposium is to identify key issues and challenges and provide a forum for immersion educators to discuss how they are ensuring that immersion students are able to demonstrate their knowledge on statewide assessments.
