Situation 3: Dialogue 1

友達A: なかなか上手だねぇ。  Nakanaka jouzu danee.   ‘You’re such a good singer.’ 

友達B: えー、そんなことないよ。  Ee, sonnakoto naiyo.   ‘Oh, no, not at all.’

友達A:　いや、うまいよ。練習したの？  Iya, umaiyo.  ‘Oh yes, you’re good.  Did you practice?’

友達B:　うん、ちょっとだけ。  Un, chotto dake.  ‘Yeah, just a bit.’
