The conference will be held at the University Hotel Minneapolis located at 615 Washington Avenue Southeast, just east of the University of Minnesota’s East Bank Campus.

Please note: Washington Avenue is closed for construction of a light-rail system between Pleasant St. and Oak St., which may not be reflected in all internet mapping sites.

Hotel Reservations

A block of rooms has been reserved at the hotel ($129/single or double, plus tax). To reserve a room call the hotel directly at (612) 379-8888 or (800) 822-6757 and mention the name of the conference in order to receive the special rate. Please note that the block will be released on 2/9/12.

To book a room online:
  • Go to www.universityhotelminneapolis.com
  • Click on “Book Now!” in the top right corner
  • Enter Dates of stay
  • Under “Group Code” enter 030812CLAC, then click Continue
  • Select a room that is linked to the block

Parking

Parking is available at the Washington Avenue Ramp of the University of Minnesota on Washington Avenue at a cost of $3.00 per hour ($12 daily maximum–rates subject to change). Special event rates may apply. 

Less expensive parking is available four blocks away in the Gold and Maroon Parking Complex just north of 4th Street S.E. for $4.00 per day. Please note that there is no overnight or Saturday parking in the Maroon and Gold Parking Complex.

Getting from the Airport

The Super Shuttle is a group limousine service that will take you directly to the University Hotel Minneapolis for approximately $19 one-way. A cab to the University Hotel Minneapolis will cost approximately $40 one way.
