Unit Overview:

System is defined as a method or procedure which forms order.  The key to understanding systems can be applied in real life situations.  To gain deeper knowledge about systems, the goal is set to explore, engage, and communicate the role of systems as it relates to core subjects, such as, math, science, reading, and social studies.

Context:

This unit will be designed for gifted learners which will provide a variety of enrichment activities to increase their awareness of analyzing the characteristics, relationships, and effect of systems in real life events.  The concept of systems will be addressing the South Carolina Standards and provide opportunities to accommodate different learning styles.
