Five days of 50 minute class sessions

Unit Overview:

Students will begin to understand the mystery behind the artï¿ï¿of an indigenous tribe of Mexico the Olmecas. Students willï¿ï¿learn more about some of the sculptures designed by this ancientï¿ï¿Americas.ï¿ï¿ They will also learn to articulate the why, when, andï¿ï¿how the sculptures where built.ï¿ï¿ Students will use artistic termsï¿ï¿to describe the sculptures.
