Think of a flower stem

Marcela has a good way to think about stem-change verbs. In order to remember where the verb does its changing (namely, in the stem), she thinks about the stem of a flower. Since the stem of a plant runs through the middle, she remembers that the stem of a verb is also in the middle. In this video, she goes through the conjugation of dormir, a verb where the stem vowel ‘o’ changes to ‘ue’ in some forms.
