Spanish tense card

Anne made her "Spanish Tense Card" when she was in high school.  She includes all the tenses she has learned and expands it as she learns new ones.   For every tense she includes:

  • the name of the tense,
  • the situation in which to use it,
  • how to form it (the endings for the –ar and –er/-ir verbs), and
  • an example.

She refers to it when she can't remember when to use a specific tense or any of the verb forms.

"I go back to it a lot … just to make sure I actually know what I’m doing."
