Target Audience

Exhibits should focus on materials and services related to language education. Content materials (math, social studies, science, arts) in non-English languages as well as professional development materials for immersion teachers are particularly welcome. See the definition of immersion program models for more information about the target audience for the conference.

Logistics

Exhibits will be held at the Crowne Plaza Riverfront (St. Paul, MN) at the following times:

  • Friday, October 17, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 18, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

There will be no exhibits during the pre-conference workshops on Thursday. Exhibitors can set up their tables after 7:00am on October 17, 2008, and can break down their displays between 2:00pm and 4:00pm on October 18, 2008.

Registration and Cost

Exhibitor spaces will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to exhibits that focus on PreK-12 education and language learning, however a limited number of spaces may be available for other types of vendors. Other vendors will be added to a waiting list on a first-come, first served basis and will be informed by September 15, 2008 if there will be room. A full refund of the exhibitor fee will be given if an exhibitor cannot be accommodated.

The cost per table is $125. This includes one six-foot draped table and two chairs. Payment for the exhibit table must accompany registration. Conference registration is not included in the per-table fee. Exhibitors who want to attend sessions or meals as part of the conference should register for the conference in addition to paying for an exhibit table.

Exhibitors who wish to use an electrical outlet or an internet connection must pay an additional charge. Service order forms will be sent to exhibitors with their registration confirmation.

Shipments can be sent directly to the hotel and should arrive no earlier than Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Charges will be made directly to the recipient’s room account, in the amount of $5 per box or $60 per pallet. Additional details about shipping will be sent to exhibitors with their registration confirmation.
